I wanted to announce the safe arrival of my daughter Brontë who was born yesterday weighing in at a whopping 10lbs 2.5oz.
I had a difficult birth and I ended up having a c section but I am so happy she's finally here.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me on this forum it has been appreciated and I wish everyone on here all the best wherever you are in your journey. I will always keep checking in xx

Wow. You said she’d be a big girl! Mary-Elizabeth is 5 weeks old Thursday and is probably over 9lb now... At least they got your birth weight right. Congratulations!! She’s lovely xx
Best of luck with the recovery. Can't believe how big she is. Millie just turned 5 weeks and she's not that big yet. Sitting looking at her now trying to imagine her still in my tummy!!
I still can't believe she was that big and I'm only 5"4 and size 10 pre pregnancy but I obviously grow huge babies! I was the side of a house to be fair come the end 😂 xx
Oh Holly she is beautiful so happy for you congratulations. Lovely name too. The good thing about having a bigger baby is they are a bit more advanced & get the hang of feeding quicker ( midwife told me that) my daughter who was a bigger baby(8lbs 14oz) than my son (6lbs 6oz) took to feeding instantly it took him a few weeks to get there. Enjoy your little girl 💗💗💗 xxxx
Ohh yeah that takes 3 days to come in. right now she’s getting all the antibodies from you. The latching was easier with my daughter she likes her food 🤣. My nipples were sore to start with but using cream & expressing milk helped relieve it. it gave hubby a chance to bond, she’s been happy to switch between both! She now decides whether it’s bottle or boob she wants. lol she knows what she wants 🤣Make sure to eat lots & drink plenty as it important to help milk supply! you will always know what is right for your baby no one else will know better than mum 😉 xxx
