Desperate to hear positive stories of success with donor eggs.

Please can i ask you to share your stories of success with donor eggs. I am currently waiting to start my 2nd FET with donor eggs. My first FET with donor eggs resulted in chemical. I have 3 rounds with my own all of which didn't implant.

I am feeling very distressed and hopeless at the moment. My husband turns 40 today and I know he feels like we don't have anything to celebrate. We try to be positive and grateful. But in our hearts are empty and everyone knows it. We have a bbq today and I don't know how I will get through it. But i must for my husband's sake.

Please can anyone who has achieved success with donor eggs after repeated BFN and chemical share their experience. Yesterday I cried because I realised I would never see what my own genetic baby will look like. Life without children doesn't seem worth living.

Try to enjoy yourself at the barbecue xx

Thanks you so much. Xxx today's been nice. Exhausted. Still feel like I'm walking round with a heavy heart. But am least I'm still here.

Me! 2 failed nhs rounds, 1 round abandoned with own eggs. De 1 bfn, 2nd bfp but anembryonic, 3rd = my little son Angus.

I turn 43 at my next birthday and we are just so in love.

Wishing you all the best x

Hi! I have been through that stage of sadness because I had to accept that there will never be a mini me... I feel your pain! I am 43 and have an Amh of .08 so I had no choice but to use donor eggs and luckily had 5 excellent grade embryos after generic testing. However I used them all up in 3 rounds of Ivf. At the time I thought the doc had tried everything because he was very confident and even added meds for me. Note that I used injectibles for every round. However I had Two bfn and one chemical. I then changed doctors who did an ERA testing on me with non injectables which resulted a wrong timing (I’m not the norm as the other doc assumed) meaning apparently they had transferred the embryos a day earlier therefore no implantation. So I found a new donor and luckily got 5 embryos again. Just transferred one and surprisingly bfp! I am now at 5+weeks and my first ultrasound will be in 3 days. Still can’t believe it and sometimes scared but I’m taking it easy. I guess using non injectables help me relax more. Doc said the results are the same but one must remember to take all meds religiously to avoid miscarriage. So I just set my alarms!! Miracles do happen and I believe it will happen to you too :)

Hi BeautifulNow

This is truly amazing. Can you please send a private message telling me what clinic you used. Also what is ERA testing. Not heard of this before

Just done loads of reading about ERA and I think this might be useful for me. I have had 10 embryos transferred altogether. 4 of which were very good quality donor embryos. Only ever had one CP and the rest were BFN. This can't be right.

That’s a lot of embryos!!! Yes you might want to do the test before your next real transfer :)
