First private scan booked early, 4 weeks tomorrow, 23 days after transfer. Viability scan scheduled next week.! Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Went for private scan, we’re due to Be 4 weeks tomorrow. So transfer was nearly 3 and a half week ago (Saturday 20th) and eg collection was Wednesday 15 July. My viability is scheduled to be next Wednesday. Booked a private just to check if could see anything and see there was no clots and lining was nice and check and thick.

Absolutely unbelievably here is our baby !!!!! I am measuring 5+ weeks and we not only saw sac, fetal pole but the most gorgeous and beautiful flickering of a heartbeat.

N.B. When talking to the sonographer she recommended us not to go through with the scan as we would likely not see anything at not even 4 weeks and to wait until next week as it would cause possible upset if I was a worrier. I asked my husband and he said you’re the strongest person I know. So went through with it and absolutely made up!!!! Heartbeat 💗 ❣ 💓

Look at that tiny little bean!! We saw our baby's heartbeat really early as well, it's incredible seeing that when baby has only existed for a few weeks ❤️ Bet you're over the moon x

I know! It was crazy! She honestly did veto against it and said not to do it !! In case, to be fair because bare in mind I’m not even 4 weeks pregnant. But unbelievable couldnt believe that little flickering I was in tears! Xxx

Not sure if you know but If you had transfer 3.5 weeks ago then you add 2 weeks (ish) on to that for your pregnancy so you would actually be 5+ weeks already. You go from the first day of your cycle to work out your due date so it sounds like baby is measuring perfectly! Enjoy your scan next week xx

It’s because EC day is basically equivalent to ovulation day in a non-IVF cycle.

So if you’d conceived naturally they actually date the pregnancy from the start of your last period, which is usually a couple of weeks before ovulation. Not sure if that makes any sense but congratulations anyway. You must be so excited and relieved 😊 xx

We had day 5 blastocyst transfer on 20th July......the first was just to the the IUGS ( intrauterine gestational sac) yesterday I had my second scan.... the fetal pole and the tiny heart beat could be seen clearly. I totally understand how elated you must be..... congratulations to both of you ! Our long journey started in 2016,... after 7 pick ups and 5 transfers , finally our blessing came by ❤️

Ah exciting! They like to have the TSH levels lower to decrease risk of miscarriage so if they are high I’ll go on meds to get them down.
