Hello ladies,

There was a huge baby shower at lunch today at work for someone going off on maternity.

I avoided it with ‘other commitments’. You could hear the cooing all the way upstairs in another office.

I wish society valued us more as women who hope to be mothers.

I find this one of the hardest aspects of this fertility struggle, my place in society, and feeling a bit outside of it.

I just wanted to say to you all: you are all the best mothers! I believe that those who are struggling, hoping, or have had to say bye bye to their babies the most loving and wonderful mums already.

You are all so amazing to keep fighting for your babies,

This is such a lovely thing to read and made me shed a tear. I have been feeling a bit low while waiting for appointments and it seems like the people who know just don’t get how it feels. I also avoid these things. So far at work 4 people have told me they are pregnant in the last 4 weeks. I cried every time. Dont get me wrong I'm really happy for them but I'm also filled with so much rage and jealousy. I just want it to be me for once.
