Conflicting info online but mostly found 5 days for eating pineapple post transfer. I do remember reading not to eat it second week 2ww so I only bought 1.
What about Brazil nuts & pomegranate juice ? Am quite low on my stock will I buy more? Tomorrow will be 5dp 3dt

Hey hun I only eat 2 pineapples in first 4 days after transfer...brazil nuts all way thru ...but I haven’t heard anything about pomegranate juice to drink on 2ww? Xx
Hi do you mean 2 slices of pineapple ? I could never eat 2 whole ones 🙈 Most sites I found online say to eat 2 slices per day I just can’t remember how long for but I figure it’s until implantation has occurred.
Thanks I will Defo but more Brazil nuts.
Am ok but forgotten how much torture this 2ww is .... time hurry up 😂
Hi all, does it really do anything? My consultant said if something like pineapple of MacDonald chips helped in anyway, they would tell us to do it! I know a lot of people do eat these things so it's interesting to hear people's comments, but I have never done them xx
Well I believe if it is meant to be it will be however I also want to eat and drink anything that may assist. This is my 5th transfer and had 2 x BFPs so far. Done the pineapple thing every time so clearly it’s not guaranteed. The theory is the core in a pineapple contains bromelain and it is that which is meant to help implantation. I have heard some clinics recommend it .... also something in salt that is meant to help so I reckon everyone thought sod it we need a treat let’s add McDonalds chips to the list 🍟😂
I’m still eating pineapple and drinking pomegranate juice but a bit more casually now and I’m 4 weeks pregnant. But I do like it a lot and it’s refreshing in this hot weather. After transfer I cut the core separately and made sure I ate about a 1/3 of the core a day as that has the highest concentration of the element that helps with implantation. I also had a few slices of the tasty juicy bits to. If you are using it specifically to help implantation it’s prob good to keep eating it throughout the 2ww because I think I read that implantation can happen a week after transfer. Happy chomping! Xx
That's the thing, a lot of people said that they drank it after transfer so I'm not sure why I thought something different. It was 2017 that I had my ivf so ages ago. Also to reassure you, my friend drank pom juice and fizzy water throughout her pregnancy as it was the only thing that didn't make her qqueasy. She had a healthy baby.
Thanks the issue is we have easy access to way too much conflicting information online. I totally get none of these are miracle foods and drinks to make it work. But we just want to feel we are doing something to help things progress x
I wouldn't bother with all that, I'm sure you've already prepped your body enough. I never had any pineapple or Brazil nuts after transfer and it was successful xxxxxxxxx

Same but mostly because I can’t stand the taste of any of them lol xx
On previous transfers I ate pineapple core in the first week. This time I didn't think about it and just ate a variety of fruits, veg and fish, and am now 10 weeks. I do have a couple of Brazil nuts once or twice as week though as part of a snack of mixed nuts - not specifically for transfer, I just like them as a snack.
Hi, there is no science /evidence behind this otherwise we would have been told to eat it but.. it's good fun and makes your feel you are doing something good and the food is healthy so I say everything in balance.
I ate one core a day for 8-9 days but it was just a symbolic thing to do more than anything🍍
I did the Brazil’s, 4-7 per day but didn’t do the pineapple as I’d read conflicting things. When I was pregnant lots of people told me to eat loads of pineapple at the end to bring on labour... (they did say eat loads not just a little) so figured it was a contradiction- Probably worth stopping it once implantation would of occurred maybe?! That being said I’m sure a little bit of any of these things gives you a variety of vitamins and that’s what your body needs! And I do love pineapple! X
Pineapple core is meant to only be eaten for the first 5 days post transfer including transfer day. You cut a whole pineapple in 5 even slices and eat one slice each day. The slices can be quite huge. After those first 5 days, too much pineapple can cause ur stomach to have mild contractions and be ineffective. However, you can eat small amounts in moderation.
As for the Brazil nuts and pomegranate juice, those can continue to be enjoyed beyond the tww and throughout your pregnancy. 2-3 Brazil nuts per day. By 5 weeks pregnant, I developed an aversion to both so I had to throw them out. Just looking at the Brazil nuts made me gag.
I did the McDonald's as well immediately after transfer! I was willing to throw everything at it to make it stick.
Thanks I did recall reading ages ago it was 5 days but the only info I can find online at moment are saying take until implantation is likely to occur. So eaten rest of it today as 5dp 3dt.
So glad your transfer worked congratulations 😀
Will keep going with Brazil nuts as long as I can. 😘
