Hope I got the acronym right?! It’s been three days since my first ever day-five embryo transfer, and I have already tested 😂
Negative, obviously.
Now I finally understand what everyone means by the “2WW crazies” - insanity. My clinic tests on Day 7, so I know my wait is less than most, but I am still wondering around the house over-thinking and obsessing over any symptom!
Although, I have to say, this is far less painful than the five-day wait to see if any blastocysts have formed. For now, anyway.
Good luck lovely!! It is the worst thing ever !! Wow 7 days is short mines 10 and I think it feels like forever doesn’t it !! At least you know your trigger is out of your system so any positives would be real!! For sure the waiting is worst than any physical discomfort isn’t it hey xx
I say keep testing, if it's definitely negative at this stage it means your trigger shot is no longer in your body so any faint positive means you are pregnant!
Yes I mean the hCG shot (the one that releases your eggs usually 38 hours before egg collection). Why are you getting another one today, never heard of this🤔
I'll be doing the exact same as you and pretty much testing daily from my first ever FET/transfer in three weeks time. I figure at least I'll know if it implants or not and if heaven forbid it implants and then turns into a chemical I'll have more to work with investigating why it failed.
Best of luck with the wait! Only 4 more days to go! Xx
I tested at 3dp6dt and had an absolute squinter at 4dp, I’d say if you’ve started then may as well keep going! I would only ever do an early test with a first response though, as cheap tests will be negative for much longer. I have however had BFPs only start at 12dpo and 14dpo though which is about 7 or 8 days past a 5dt, so don’t be disheartened by a few negatives if you get them! Good luck!! Xxx
Thank you so much. I should probably stop...it is getting obsessive. Argh.
I really hope things are going well for your FET preparation xx
