Anyone know if you can see a different fertility specialist after being signed off? I’ve been signed off for over a year and still nothing. I haven’t been told I’m infertile, but I have a 6 year old and we’ve been ttc for almost 3 years. I ovulate fine (according to blood tests) I had a lap to unblock one tube and it’s now just slow flowing but shouldn’t be causing problems.

Any further advice would be great.

I’m not the expert ...but having all ready baby u will more likely not count us a funding by NHS .

If u self funding I believe u can go and choose any fertility clinic.

Would I have to go through my GP again to get a different fertility clinic? Or can I arrange an appointment myself?

I want to try everything before I save for ivf

Is worth to go to your GP and ask and if u can do a basic tests which fertility clinic want before they start any treatment.

Blood tests ( what I remember)like LH , TSH, Prolactin,Thyroid ..

Those test your GP can do it and when u have the results he should tell if they all normal or if is any of them not .

If u private patient I believe that u can choose any clinic u want hun.xx

I agree with previous post. Have you had a day 21 progesterone blood test. You need check there is ovum popping out each month not empty follicle. Have u had AMH done, check egg reserve? Any endo symptoms, maybe check that out too. There is alot that can be done before you start self funding. 😀

I’ve had the standard blood tests and a laparoscopy over a year ago no endo found but a adhesion removed on left tube and is now clear but slow flowing.

Not sure of the exact tests I’ve had done, just went in on certain days.

They were all normal but I’m now convinced that my hormones are imbalanced, just from certain symptoms
