Have you still got the info leaflet from your trigger shot? Mine said 10 days for it to be out of your system.

I got late onset OHSS and was told it was probably due to pregnancy hormones and they suggested I test early to check. I first tested 8dp5dt (so 15 days ish after the trigger shot) and was one of the lucky ones. I got a very faint positive which got darker each day I tested. Not sure if the shot/rules are different for iui though? We had IVF

I'm 2 weeks away from my viability scan now and still feeling that anxiety over waiting. I'm not sure it'll ever go away.

Keeping everything crossed it's good news for you too. xxx

Step away from the test!

I’m joking, obviously it’s your decision and it’s easier said than done 😬. Do you know what dose your trigger shot was? I didn’t have one that contained HCG so I don’t know much about it but I think the stronger dose can last 10-14 days ish?? I know my friend who had a high dose had an OTD of 16 days past transfer x

I tested the day before my blood test to prep myself as I suspected it was negative and I didn’t want to get the call at work. My clinic was 17dpiui which I thought was excessive so knew I’d be safe.

I’d say you’ll be safe about 14 days onwards if you can hold out. It sooo tough though xx

Hei Kelly

Before you move to IVF how many iui did you do that was unsuccessful . I just had a IUI that was unsuccessful and i don't know if i should move to IVF or try IUI again

I think it’s a personal choice really.

I only had one but I’m paying for my treatment and we need to use a sperm donor (male infertility) and so that meant each IUI would cost around Β£2500 so not much cheaper than IVF to be honest so we had only ever planned to try it once.

So sorry your IUI was unsuccessful πŸ˜” x

Thanks dear im sorry to hear that but we also had a male infertility we had to use a sperm donor which cost more on IUI ,i thnk i have to look the cost of IVF for the second round .

Its different for everyone, some ladies report it being out after 5-6 days, some as long as 14. For me it was always gone by 10 days. Good luck staying away from the pee sticks, I never could 😁
