BFP!!!! Now what happens?

I am driving myself crackers πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. So this morning I peed on two sticks at the same time, a digital one and a normal one to make sure. πŸ˜‚(I know!! πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ) and then panicked over a line that was a bit faint. Found out this was probably to do with rubbish aim as I tested again just using one and the line is really strong πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

So anyways my question is, my clinic say to email them the result which I’ve done but am I meant to phone my Gp too??

I never trust aim! It causes too much stress. I always collect wee into a cup and dip the stick in πŸ˜‚

So glad your BFP has been confirmed! Congratulations. I’m not sure what the process is from here but I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Congratulations!! I got my BFP last week too! I have contacted my doctor and arranged an early scan for 2 weeks time. All being well he will then discharge me back to the NHS antenatal clinic at my local hospital. Good luck! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy!

I’ll give them a call and ask them. Congratulations to you too and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xxx

Yeyyyy congrats! I would imagine your clinic will arrange an early scan for you when they get your result so I would hang off speaking with your GP just yet. Wishing you all the best! Im also driving myself crackers....join the club! Lolxx

Yay! Congratulations! I think you can get your hcg levels tested via the NHS (that's what I did). It takes about 4 days for results to come in, but it's worth it to have some 'statistics' as well as a home test. Maybe ask your clinic about next steps? All the best.

Congratulations!! My clinic gave me a scan at 7 weeks then discharged me. I then contacted my local midwives and got taken on by them. Hope this helps xx

Congratulations! I got my BFP last week and had the same question. I've got my viability scan booked in for 2 weeks time and am going to wait until then to call the gp and sort midwife appointments. X

Some clinics prefer you to have your viability scan at around 7 weeks and will then refer you directly to the nearest maternity unit.

Congrats!!

Congratulations πŸ’œ fantastic news!

Contact your clinic - they will then arrange a 7wk viability scan. I waited until I had this scan before contacting my gp and notifying them of my pregnancy πŸ˜‰ exciting times!! Enjoy and hope everything goes well x x

As above the clinic will arrange a scan at around 7 weeks and will discharge you back to NHS. Our clinic told us to call the GP which we did but they told us to call the midwife. The clinic also wrote a letter for us to pass on to the GP but we’d already booked in with the midwife by the time it arrived. Congratulations!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! Xxxxxx my OTD is tomorrow so got to do another test then and if it’s still positive, then they will book me in for my 7 week scan. I rang my doctor and got permission to go to the hospital today for a blood test to check my hcg levels for extra reassurance, I’m freaking out now though as having intense AF like cramps!!! This is much worse than the 2ww! So excited yet nervous. I hope you’ll be more relaxed than me! X
