6 week scan this morning

Had my 6 week scan this morning, gestational sac measuring 6w6d, good looking yolk sack but struggled 5o see foetal pole. We thought we could see it but was well hidden in the corners now have to wait another week and scan again on Thursday. Hoping it's just an awkward embryo!

Hi bms. Oh I do hope so. This is the very reason why I prefer to scan at 7 weeks, when you should be able to see the heartbeat and all is well. Fingers crossed for next week. Diane

Thanks diane, yes I did wonder on the 6 weeks scan. It looked to be there but was hidden in a corner so best to wait rather than presume. My hcg has been really high, whereas last time it didn't increase very much. However I know that doesn't really say much

Oh I really hope so too! Its amazing how much more they can see over the 7week mark!! Fingers and toes crossed for you!xx
