Testing obsessed?

So tested d6pt and was positive, tested everyday until OTD Wednesday. Didn’t test since, until this morning because my boobs felt less heavy than recently. So I found the blue test the clinic gave me and it was positive however a lot lighter than I expected. I was previously testing with first response and could see the lines darker each day so this morning although a different test expected to see both lines as dark as each other. Now I’m going to go and buy more first response tests to make sure they are still as dark as test day. Is this being too obsessed? 7 week scan on 15th May, I just want to see a heartbeat and make sure it ok. The next 2 weeks are going to drive me insane! Can’t help but worry.

Think I’ve taken 10 tests so far, when I’ve done one on a different brand and it hasn’t been as dark I’ve gone and bought another one. Either it’s normal or we are just a crazy as each other! Xx

Amazing and news and you are completely normal so don’t beat yourself up. 15th May will come round quickly enough but it never feels it at the time. Look after yourself xxxx

I’ve done 5 tests since OTD ! For that exact Same reason, my boobs have fluctuated and I’ve not got any real symptoms. I’ve got my scan today and I’m an absolute bag of nerves. The last two weeks has been hard ! Your not alone ! Testing does help temporarily but then I still worry 2 days later! Xxx

Thanks all for responding, at least I’m not the only mad one 😂 it’s driving me crazy. I wish they did a daily blood test so I could see the increase, my clinic don’t offer bloods at this stage.

It's so scary isn't it?! A positive is a positive though, try not to worry about the strength of the line, so many things can affect it. I got a positive on 20th april (I think I am 5+4 today) and have tried not to do too many tests since then, but if I don't do one after 4 or 5 days the anxiety gets too much! I have hardly any symptoms other than little twinges low down in my tummy every now and then. I've also forced myself into having a longer wait for my scan as well because we're on holiday next week so mine is on 15th May too by which time I'll be one day short of 8 weeks. Good luck x

I tested on the leas up to test day and said that I wouldnt test after our official test, hubby told me not to and it was hard but at the same time I was scared to keep testing in case the lines went away!! I ended up doing one more after I had a little spotting around a week later! I think if you are comparing tests it is best to have the same brand....we all get a little test obsessed....its completely normal Im sure of it....or at least that's what I tell myself!! Ha ha ha xx

Iv been exactly the same 🙈 after OTD Wednesday I then waited until Saturday to test, and have again today...Dread to think how much am spending on tests. Our scan was also booked for 15th, but I only have enough Lubion injections until the 11th so Iv been told to go for scan the week before to check everything is progressing as we are self funding our cycle and meds and they are so expensive. Wondering if they will be able to get an idea then though? Will only be 4 weeks from transfer x

How far gone will you be on 11th? I’m so glad I’m not alone. I think I will test again towards the end of this week if I can wait that long 🙉 the wait feels worse than the 2ww! X

Will only be 6 weeks. It really does, I thought after testing positive id be on cloud 9 and relaxed, I am really grateful but it doesn’t feel real and I’m so paranoid. I’m so worried that even though I’m testing positive it will end up being a chemical pregnancy. It messes with your head so much doesn’t it...never expected the time would go slow or I’d

I was told 6 weeks was the earliest you can have a scan so I’m sure they will be able to do all the usual checks on your day. I know how your feeling, I just want to know the hormone is increasing and not deceasing. Keep me informed on your progress/symptoms so I can of course compare them to mine and drive myself mad why I am different 😂x

😂 and of course then google if the systems are good or bad 🙈 my partner thinks Iv gone mad and got shares in the pregnancy test companies! X
