Hi, is anyone under IVI Valencia?

I’m thinking of moving to another IVI aaa it’s proving difficult to get to spontaneously. Would be great to know others experience too. Especially those doing donor egg cycles 😊

How has your experience been so far. I am thinking of moving from Valencia to Barcelona, purely for travelling purposes. There are only 2 flights a week from Manchester to Valencia 😩🤷🏻‍♀️. I am 3 transfer donor eggs no more frozen left. I am over quite overweight and Valencia have been very accommodating so far. So I suppose I am afraid another one may not be so accommodating and want me to loose lots of weight before hand too. Valencia’s good just wish it was easier to travel to x

I loved how I have been looked after by Barcelona. I am currently almost 30 weeks. Happy to dm if you have specific questions. I am 42 and we got 1 x bfn with 1 egg, 1st ever bfp with second transfer -sadly ended up anembryonic. 3rd transfer bfp and here we are today. I did take time out of work to de-stress after the first bfn I can't emphasise enough how terrible stress is on the whole process. So somewhere easy that you like visiting is definitely a plus xx

Thank you so much. Just feel like. I hope after 2 transfers that have ended in very early misscary or chemical and 1 bfn. Nice to hear a happy story. How long do you stay out there xx

Usually arrive at least the day before and last time we came home on the Sunday after a Friday transfer. We also usually stay in am air bnb in the eixemple district as it is walkable to everywhere from there but nice and quiet and friendly feeling x

Hi

I am with IVI Vigo

Primarily cause is 20 mins from my mums place so it is easy

So far no success .. I have no complaints

I am using donor eggs

Perhaps the only one is that they do not work together with the IVI London so although you can have scans and blood tests done there if need, you have to pay for them (they are not cheap) although they are included in the IVI Vigo package .... I just think it would be nice if you could have some bits done in the UK cheaper or free 😊

Xxx

I agree, same for me up north too, I am Cheshire. I am thinking of moving from Valencia to a more easier accessible one such as Barcelona or Madrid. Somewhere with more flights. It can be difficult to get to Valencia from Manchester or Liverpool. Do you think it would be ok to move. I am have just had 3rd donor egg transfer and no frozen left now. So that’s a new round of donor for me at 10,000 😪

Hi

So sorry to hear, it is so tough when it keeps not working and don't really know why💔

I had a fresh embryo and frozen embryo transfer both failed

I have 2 more frozen embryos to try when I feel a bit better within myself to keep trying

IVI has very good reputation, even more so Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid but I think they are all on par, although I think each clinic works on its own

Hopefully you will be able to use some of the tests you have done with Valencia for your next IVI destination

For me travelling to Vigo works especially during low season, I can get very cheap flight tickets and luckily can stay with my mother but for example for the last transfer it was tough during the kids school holidays and flights were very very expensive but I made it work

I usually travel the day before any appointments and leave 2 days after depending on prices of flights

Although for one scan I left uk at 6am and was back at 8.30pm🙈

Keep us posted and best of luck xxx

We were with IVI Malaga. Service, care and accessibility were brilliant. Flights were available several times a day from Newcastle even in the winter.

We also had donor egg treatment and had success on our first round. Our little boy is 16 weeks today.
