Scared for pregnancy after near miss car crash

Horrendous eractic driver forced me to slam the brakes on and avoid going into the back of him yesterday. Was seriously shaken up, but I just feel totally scared that’s something has happened to the pregnancy. I’m 5+2.

There is no bleeding I think I’m just over worrying. It’s so so scary after all we go through to get the BFP, one minute of stupidity by someone else could take it all away.

What an awful experience for you. Thankfully you braked and had no impact so I’m sure it will be totally fine and just a scary moment for you but I’m sure baby wouldn’t have even noticed inside your thick comfy lining xxxx

Do you have an early scan booked? Maybe you could ring the EPU and ask for an earlier appointment just to set your mind at ease. Car accidents even near misses are really frightening, and with your brain full of hormones no wonder you were shaken. Best of luck for a happy and healthy pregnancy xxx

A pregnant woman is actually very protective of her pregnancy. This is something very innate. This is why you automatically felt tense. However, just take a deep breath. Don't think about the incident that occurred. Hope you are feeling better now. if you want someone to talk to feel free to do so. Good luck to you.
