Heyyy lovely ladies. Hope you are all well. I haven't been around for a while, so busy working and fighting with some negative thoughts hahaha but thank God I'm much better now.
Im ready to start my second cycle hopefully with a better outcome this time.
Im starting Norethisterone 2nd of April and if all goes well injections around 16-17 April yayyy already excited.
I've tried to improve my eating habits, water intake etc. I was wondering what you all think about acupuncture during short protocol. Would it do any good or?
Sending lots of hugs and smiles and enjoy the sunshine ππππ€π€π€xxx

I have done acupuncture this time round, mainly to help reduce my stress levels. It really helped me relax and I felt so much better. I went once a week in the run up and then pre and post transfer. Nice to have someone independent to talk to too. Test date is 10th April so we shall see if it has helped xx
Hey, honey! I hope you're doing okay, now! Welcome back to the forum. I want to wish you the best of luck for this cycle. I really pray you get the BFP. Lovely wishes from your side. You sound like a lovely woman! Hoping you become a mom by the time this ends. You're doing everything really well! You can do it.
Acupuncture is definitely helpful. Not for everyone, though! I would suggest you go for it if you feel like it. Best of luck to you for the cycle. I hope it works out! Great to see you so excited. I really hope it's complemented with the best news possible. x
Just wanted to drop in and say best of luck! You must be quite excited. I used to get so anxious! I hope all of this works out for you. TTC can be really taxing, mentally. Hopefully, it happens on this go! You can do it, hun. x
Yes it's so frustrating and emotional journey. Hope it works better this time, i did cycle in January but none of my 4 eggs developed and the cycle was cancelled. I really hope i get higher number of eggs and better quality this time. Thank youbπππxxxx
I was quite sceptical about acupuncture after doing it during my 1st cycle and havenβt done any in my 2nd. In my 3rd I found a new acupuncturist who practices classical acupuncture as in oppose to the traditional Chinese acupuncture. It involved much less needles and I could actually see that every one was put in with the purpose rather than just putting lots of them in the same places all the time without much thought which was my previous experience. So finding a good practitioner is definitely a key. Best wishes xx
Thank you so much! Hope you feel great and happy πππxxx
Hey lovely. I did acupuncture for my first cycle and BFN and ironically didn't do it with my BFP. I was endlessly hoping it would relax me but it just didn't work for me. I am not sure if it was the room I was in, the woman doing it or what, but it never really had any impact at all.
I have done reflexology for about 2 years. I didn't do that with my BFP for the record... but I find it always really chills me out and I LOVE having my feet massaged anyway!
Masses of luck for next cycle - ours is on hold waiting for a docs appt to follow up on an MRI I had.. and the first available appt is June 27!!! WAIL! xx
Hey hun. Thank you very much. Im still thinking acupuncture, reflexology etc hahaha at thr end i might not do any if them tbh..
Hope you are doing well. Omg 27th June π° thr waiting times sometimes are unbelievable... At least you have some time to take care of yourself and do some nice things, maybe a short break πππ Next cycle will be your time and everything will be amazing! β€β€β€β€β€
Ive been doing reflexology for the last few weeks ready for my ivf in couple of weeks and my therapist said i could have reflex during treatment as it could interfere with it so instead and going to alternate between a back massage and reiki i find reiki really helps me
I was thinking about reflexology as well but i saw some people saying they don't recommend it for during ivf as reflexology is meant to balance the body and with the ivf we do the opposite haha.
