Shirodkar suture yesterday, anyone had it ?

Hi everyone

Not been on here much since loosing our little girl on October. I have been getting my head around things and getting healthy. Lost nearly three stone and ready to move forward.

Yesterday I had the shirodkar suture put in under GA ready for our next IVF attempt. God I’m in pain, hopefully be worth it though.

Has anyone else had the shirodkar?

Planning on going back to Cyprus end of May. I will not give up on my dream yet!

I’ve had a TAC placed for when I do get pregnant one day....well done for getting that sorted before going again, sorry you’re in pain, sorry for your loss, but now you’ve taken care of yourself and fingers crossed this will now be your time ❤️🤞🍍

Hi Missy. Awful to hear of the tragic loss of your precious daughter. However, it was good to read that you now have a "safety net" installed, so that your next pregnancy can be safe with the Shirodkar suture in place. Hopefully the discomfort you are feeling will soon pass. Good luck! Diane

Thank you Diane. That's two little girls now and two funerals. So I don’t want to ever go through that again. Let’s hope the suture works xxx
