Hi everyone, some good news re the access to NHS IVF situation in England.
Herts Valleys CCG has announced it is to reinstate NHS IVF from 1 April 2019, allowing 1 IVF cycle for women under 40. It decommissioned NHS fertility services in Oct 17. Herts Valleys says it is doing this because its financial situation has improved.
The news comes weeks after South Norfolk CCG announced it is reinstating NHS IVF from 1 April 19 , allowing 2 cycles for women under 40 and 1 for women aged 40-42. It decommissioned NHS fertility services in Jan 16. South Norfolk said it is doing this to bring the CCG into line with neighbouring CCGs.
Really hope Cambridgeshire will make a similar announcement! It's too late for us as we already self funded, but it would really help out a friend who is struggling!

That's really great news. I hope Croydon manages to sort itself out too. I've got funding for two cycles and only bring treated there, but know of a few people from Croydon who haven't been able to go for IVF because they just can't afford it. It's really sad
