Cycle update - there's a surprise!

Im in my 4th cycle of ivf and trying full stimm for the first time (3 previous rounds of natural modified). I have very low amh and only a couple of follicles, it was borderline whether I would qualify for full stimm or not, but on the first day my hormone levels were suitable, so that was a mini celebration!

The drugs sure are more hefty than with a nm cycle, but I've not been feeling too bad. Today the clinic called to give me my instructions as usual, and told me no stimulation today or tomorrow! So weird. I'm mid cycle...

Ive been waiting for something to go wrong, so if course my negative voice kicked right in, thinking I'm not responding well to the stimulation, and the clinic is considering cancelling the cycle.

I couldn't handle waiting 2 days for my next scan, and worrying about it, so I called back. The nurse was so helpful, explaining that it's because I'm on clomid as well, sometimes they stop stimulation for a couple of days to give the clomid a chance to really kick in. It's nothing to worry about.

Of course it doesn't mean I'm responding brilliantly, that's not to be expected with my low hormone profile, but I am glad I can keep going and try.

Sometimes you just convince yourself it's all gone Pete tong!
