Yikes - BFP

Hi everyone,

I tested this afternoon and it's a BFP 😃 I have never had a positive before.

We are mostly in shock but also feeling so very fortunate. I'm sure the next phase of worries will kick in soon but for today I'm so happy to know our little embryo is still there.

Thank you to all you lovely ladies who have supported me over the past few very intense weeks xx

Congratulations, so exciting! I got my bfp on Friday and I'm stil in shock. I think we had our egg collections and transfers on the same day xx

I need to call my clinic tomorrow to arrange the scan, I think it will be in 3 weeks. Yes fingers crossed everything goes along as normal for both of us 🙏 xx

We're planning to try our fist natural FET with my cycle that starts next week. I'll need a scan to make sure my follicles and ovaries are back to normal and if they are, my first transfer will be before Xmas. It's so exciting to see you, kirstyblue and another person I met on Facebook all get your BFP this weekend on your first transfers! It gives me a lot of hope. 😊 Xx

Fingers crossed you'll be ready to welcome your embie back soon. Yes there do seem to have been a flurry of positives - so hoping it's your turn next 😃🙏 xx

Were you shocked? Im so pleased for you! I’m good thank you. I’ve done 4 tests in total now 🙈 just can’t believe it! Xx

Yes very shocked. I still had hope but I've done so many pregnancy tests over the past 3 years I never really expected to see two lines. It came up positive straight away!

Did the hospital say anything to you about if you are okay to use the pessary applicator whilst pregnant? I have been but it’s suddenly just occurred to me.x

They just said to carry on with the pessaries if I got a positive. I'm sure it's fine to keep using the applicator. What's your concern about it? xx

That’s the same as what they said to me..only because I know your not allowed to use the applicators if it’s for a thrush tablet so wondered if it was all applicators or maybe that’s a different type. X

Ah I hadn't heard that about thrush tablets. I wouldn't worry for now, maybe just check with clinic tomorrow? xx
