Can’t believe I’m desperate for my period!

Hi everyone - I wonder if anyone can help...

I had my schedule appointment Tuesday and told them my period was due the following day. So they booked my first scan in for tomo (3rd day of period) and said I’d start injections that same evening. Well, surprise surprise my period is a no show! I’m worried that even if it starts tonight, I’ll have had it less than 24 hours for the scan. Should I cancel the appointment??

I guess I’m worried if I cancel it and then come on tomorrow I have to hope I can be fitted in for a scan Monday - if not will I miss this month’s cycle of treatment?? If that happens they will push back treatment to January!!

I’m probably not helping myself by stressing over it. Any advice welcome. Thank you x

I would call the clinic to see what their preference is. They may reschedule your appt but the lining does thing quickly once you start bleeding so it may be ok. They'll keep you right, you'd be surprised at how may people's periods arrive late when we want them!! Typical!xx

Don’t cancel but call your clinic and they will advise you on what to do. All may not be lost yet. It’s sod’s law isn’t it? We hope af doesn’t come for obvious reasons every month, but when we actually need her she’s a no show! 😠 xx

Thanks Tugsgirl. Sod’s law indeed! I’ve tried drinking ginger tea, eating citrus fruits and exercising but nothing’s worked!! X
