Um, I am a little confused, so I called my GP to get my progesterone results and they gave me it in percentage... Is that right?
If so, anyone know if 53.6% is a good number? I am baffled haha

I did a quick google for you and even I can’t seem to get any results in percentages. Hopefully someone else can explain this to you though xx
Yes I did this too, I think maybe she gave me the wrong number. Will have to call back
Im pretty baffled by these results too. Can you ask for a copy of your results to see what the normal ranges are on the print out?xx
Yes, I think this would be a better option. I need to call the clinic on day 1 so will ask if they have a copy too that they can explain more. They did say it confirmed I had ovulated, so that was good. Just an idea on my levels in the right format would be nice though haha
Ha ha ha well the good news is then that you have ovulated.....yehhhh! Another hurdle over!xx
Hi MyIVFHart. In all my years I've not known percentages as a result. I've always known progesterone to be in nmols/l and if done on Day 21 should be over 30. Slight variation to testing if long or short cycles. Hope you get it explained. Diane
I wonder if the lady on the phone actually meant 53.6nmols/l, would that seem right? Thanks, I think I will speak directly to the clinic next time and not GP practice aha
Hi. I did wonder! If it then you have definitely ovulated. Ideal result. Diane xx
Yep, she did mean 53.6nmols/l. I don't think my GP practice has many fertility patients as they were a bit baffled about the blood test to start with. So glad to have clarification aha!
