Here I am again...

My journey started 10 years ago and I managed to conceive my now 19 month old after 8 years of ttc. So here I am again about to start tests for the 3rd time (had a break after the first lot before son was conceived then had to repeat).

I was told I had low progesterone at my last bloods before son and couldn’t be referred on for help following that as partner refused to give a sperm sample (he’s very anti-medical intervention), so somehow conceived our boy naturally...no idea how?!

So here we are again, ttc again for 14 months with no joy and repeating bloods starting today on day 2 and progesterone will be on day 23 due to my cycle length. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst tbh...in prev tests I either didn’t ovulate at all or progesterone score was too low so not feeling positive, however I’m reminding myself that I conceived my son against all odds without any help so you never know. Just hoping for any answers really so I can finally move on and live my life again.

Good luck. It is such a roller coaster. Kind of like standing in the queue to go onto it, knowing that you hate the actual ride but really want the photo at the end. Sending you big hugs xx

Thanks everyone! So nice to be able to vent to people who actually ‘get it’ and with nothing but support had bloods taken this morning, had to use both arms cause they took so much! Hoping for positive results but tbh I’m already feeling better just talking about it and seeking help. Best of luck to you all x

Update for anyone interested. Got my day 21 progesterone today and it was 37!! No other issues with bloods either so guess my body is just taking its time as usual! Will keep trying...feeling like a weight has been lifted already just knowing that i ovulated 😁 baby dust to you all x
