Delivery booked for next week!

Today at now 31+2 both twins are still kicking and after many scans and tests on Tuesday just gone, they have booked us in for a Csection on Wednesday where I'll be 32+1. Currently twin A is predicted to be around 4lbs and twin B just 2lbs. They will be taken straight to special care after delivery which will be a whole new thing to contend with but I just wanted to write and let you know that the last 11 weeks since we had our anomaly scan have been very worrying (see other posts), I'm so thankful that we made it this far and am just hoping that they both thrive on the outside. Will share more when they are here. All the best to you wherever you are in this very challenging journey. Xxxx

How exciting and also scary! There's every hope that your babies will do well my niece had twins the same weights and though the little twin had a longer stay in special baby care they are fabulous little boys who have just started school hope that helps x

Friend had IVF twins, they came naturally at just 30 weeks (she had pre-eclampsia), just over 3lb each and one needed oxygen for 24hrs and the other no additional help, they stayed in special care for a while but are now two feisty 2 1/2 year olds. Hope everything goes well xxx
