Abdominal pain

I had ET Monday morning, it was an awful 45 minute experince but finally they succeed and the embryo was transfered.

I’ve got awful abdominal pain, it was slightly better yesterday but woke up today and it’s really bad again.

Has any one experienced this and got BFP as the end of the 2 week wait.

Hey,

I had quite bad abdominal pain after my first round and I think it was down to the pessaries - I was on crinone that cycle.

Also, if your egg collection was recently you could still be recovering from that too.

Good luck xxx

Oh no, why was it so painful and awful? I thought it was meant to be painless. Bless you. X

It wasn’t so painful at the time. They struggled to get a good view on the ultrasound and then when they did the doctor said he was having difficulty getting through my cervix, My legs had gone dead and were shaking due to the position I was in ended up swapping unltrasound machine to have a second attempt. Took about 45 mins in total x

Ive had similar recent problems on my last 2nd transfer (I was knocked out for my recent one)....apparently it was difficult to gain access to my cervix too but Ive no idea why as my transfers before were all plain sailing. I cant offer much hope Im afraid as Ive never had a successful cycle yet but hopefully your pain settle and you can take paracetamol. Wishing you lots of luck!xx

Hi Lab_lover. Ouch! So sorry to hear this and I hope your tummy soon settles back down again. Probably a bit of bruising from all the pushing and shoving you poor thing. Make sure you rest when you can and take some paracetamol if you need to. Thinking of you. Diane
