7 week scan...update

Hi. I have my 7 week scan on wed. Do i need to drink water? Or is it an internal scan? Tia

Just had my scan. Little embie is still going strong with a little heart beat. Its measuring 2days less. Due date is 29.03.19 😍

All my early scans have first been abdominal then iv gone to loo and internal. Good luck for Wednesday hun 😘💝

It may be one or other. I’d go prepared for it to be an internal, but they will likely try abdominal first and sometimes they can see at that stage. Full bladder needed for abdominal so I’d do that just in case. Good luck 😃

Thank you, I am constantly tired and wake up every night between about 4/5 to go to the bathroom, only felt a bit nauseous this morning but i did start back at the gym so could have been that. How about you? X

Mild sickness during the day but if i eat fruit it subsides . Just had my scan. My dd is 29.03.19 and little embies heart beat was going strong xx

That's fantastic news, I bet you were so relieved to see its heart beating nice and strong. My appointment at 1.30pm, I hope my scan pic is as clear as yours xx

Not good, they couldn't see a yolk sac and said it was only measuring 4-5 weeks, they've taken a blood test to find out what's going on and made an appointment for Fri afternoon,I'll not feeling very positive xx

Awwe Claire 😭. Im so sorry it didn't go as hoped. Don't lose hope. My baby measured a few day's less than expected. I've heard other womans baby measuring 1 week behind and its turned out good in the end. So its 50/50 right now for you. Keep positive. Sending lots of love. Hope you're ok xx

Thank You Loulav, I don't know what to think,have read mixed stories so I just need to pray,my boss has told me to take rest of the week of so going to try and rest xx

I’ve just started with the multiple trips to the toilet in the night. I’m so tired. Wishing this subsides soon I need a good night sleep. I’m only 5w4d and didn’t think it could happen this soon x

I was surprised by the increase in trips to the bathroom during the night but apparently its quite common! I started back at the gym yesterday so hoping it will give me more energy, not feeling it yet though!! Hopefully you manage to get a good nights sleep soon xx

Yeh it literally came on over night. I believe it does settle down but got quite a few weeks of it yet I would say take it easy at the gym, I’m just going to take it easy now till my first scan and then see what I can do until 12w scan. I’m tired esp in middle of work which is unlike me. X

I refuse internal scans and my clinic in Cyprus are against them. I had one at 6+1 and it was abdominal and heart beat was seen xxx good luck x

It’s your body plus if they get heart beat from your tummy why go through having an internal xxx good luck xxx

Congrats on your 7 week scan. Looks so cute even if it’s only pee sized my hopsital haven’t said end I’m having an internal or abdominal scan. Hope it’s ultrasound as I want a pic x
