Hi Guys,
I’m 40 and my first fresh cycle resulted in 9 eggs and 3 embryos. My AMH last August when I started IVF was 14.9. My specialist said in my follow up appointment from my failed FET that she thought with my AMH number I should have produced about 15 eggs.
This being said my first fresh cycle I was on a long protocol. I’ve seen here where people have mentioned for people 40+ to use a short protocol as it has more successful with more eggs produced. This cycle is what I have called my last. Anyone in their 40’s that can give advice on your experience with long or short protocol? Did you have better egg numbers on one over the other?
Thanks
