10 years is a long time why have you waited until now?

We decided to go doctors and get it looked into early last year but I lost both my parents so we completely got distracted with it all my husband has been really nervous about it too expecting the worse I think but we've chatted about it and decided to finally get things looked into x

Don't be nervous - it will be a massive relief to be able to get help after all this time :)

Try not to be nervous, although easier said than done, I was awful before my first GP appt! They'll probably do or book some blood tests for you and refer your husband for semen analysis. They'll also ask lots of questions about your sex life so be prepared to be completely honest! This is such a good place to ask questions or just get things off your chest, makes you realise you're not alone and that is such a help. Good luck with it all!

Thank you so much x

Good luck- as KW83 says, you’ll be asked some questions about your periods and how long you’ve been trying. They will also ask if you have been pregnant before. Normally they should refer you for day 3 and day 21 blood tests (depending on your cycle) and an internal scan and a semen analysis for your partner.

Just a practical tip- book two appointments (eg one after the other but you can go in together)- one for you and one for your partner otherwise they might not be able to order all the tests you need for both of you in one go.

Exciting but nerve- wracking! Xxx

Welcome to the forum. You are still young. Im sure your referral will go well. Generally this is a wonderfully supportive site monitored by a trained nurse so it’s safe. No question too big or small. 😊. All the best.

hi, hope so you are doing great. Don't take the stress. All will be fine soon. Don't lose your hope. Stay positive. Nothing is impossible even the word impossible says I M POSSIBLE:). I will recommend you to go for a checkup in the best clinic. I believe Europe has one of the best clinics. My sister went there for her treatment. Hoping you get positive news. Sending you lots of love. My prayers for you. Take care of yourself.
