A was wondering if anyone new when you get your BFP what date do you start counting from like to try work out how many weeks you are ?xx

Google it as per what hope85 says but if your dating scan gives you a different date then don't get too hung up about it! This next few weeks until your 12 week scan will feel soooo long!!

Have you got the FLO app? It is really nice and you put in your details and 1st day of period and it counts down the weeks - showing the size of the baby etc. I love it....

Been using it to track my cycles and then changed to pregnancy mode...

I know - it is so hard to remember.....I had this app that is the only reason I knew....

Maybe it will help you plan things etc as you can check what stage you will be at for future dates....

The time between egg collection and BFP tends to be 2 weeks, and you would usually add 2 weeks onto that. So at point of BFP you’d be 4 weeks pregnant. Was your OTD more than 2 weeks from collection/fertilisation? That may be why you are getting 5w3d x

5w 3days can't be right surely? A cent even remember now 🙈 it was a day 5 transfer on the 8th of June a thought a was only two weeks or something 🤔xx

So if your transfer was on the 13th.. You are 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Baby due 1st March 😘 xx

Hi Michelle how do we work out a frozen transfer? My egg collection was last november 2017 and my transfer was 30th may 2018. I had an induced bleed ready to thicken my lining on 7th may. I cant work it out properly. Xx

Seen this and thought I’d give my tuppence worth 😃

I am pregnant following a frozen transfer. I added 5 days prior to transfer date. So in your case it would be as if conception happened 25th May (approx) so just count 2 weeks prior to 25/05 to start off and count the weeks up to your BFP. hope that makes sense. x

If you had a 3 day frozen transfer, you'll be 6 weeks 3 days. Baby due 17th February. If your embryo was a 5 day transfer, you'll be 6 weeks and 5 days and baby due 15th February.. I just put it in a ivf calculator lol. Xx

I get 6w5d too by counting the manual way. When was your BFP? x

Yep so as Michelle says, estimated due date looks like 15th Feb 😃 I am 9+6 due 24th Jan so that works ❤️

How did you work it out originally? It's all so confusing.. When I had my 12 week scan I was measuring 3 days ahead, and there was a registrar there and he reckoned he was an ivf expert and was trying to say my date was from transfer, which would have made me at 11 weeks 4 days.. The midwife ignored him and took my workings because I was measuring 12 week 5 days. See all very confusing lol. I think if your embryo is a five day blastocyst, then 5 + 2 weeks + how many days since transfer. We're Pregnant for two weeks before we are actually pregnant 😂 xx

I didnt work it out as wasnt sure how. Fet was worked out. But the fertility dr said i was 4+few days when I asked him on 16th june. Xx

The nurse said I was 4 weeks when I phoned up with my otd, but I wasn't I was over 4 weeks lol xx
