My work were understanding the first 2 cycles and then began to make comments about how flexible they were having to me for me even though I always picked the first appt at the clinic. Unfortunately I did end up leaving as I could cope with the extra pressure for me it was the best thing I did but I know it’s not that easy for everyone to just find another job.

Could you maybe just have a word with your manager and explain you’ll try to get the first or last appt of the day so it won’t interfere when possible xx

I understand what you mean. We are in the donor sperm waitlist but have been given a" timeline" of what will happen once we reach the top of the list and I get my period. I will need a bit of time of and am dreading that meeting with my manager. Part of me is considering taking the booklet page and being like this is what will be happening.

As part of the donor sperm program we had to have a mandatory counselling session, she explained that sometimes people are straight up with their bosses or other times you can say you have gyno issues and need certain appointments at certain times. As she said everyone is entitled to sick days. I wish you luck xx

I have been told to take it as holiday or make the time up. If I can’t cope with that/run out of holiday take it unpaid. I’m fine with that but I just get that feeling they’re not impressed at all. I haven’t been there long and they probably wish now they never hired me. I hate the job. Just trying to stick it out to get through the next few months and see what happens but feeling very low. I didn’t think want to feel like this. I should feel excited now guilty about all the time off! X
