Hey, Osman, I hope you and your wife are doing well. I am sure it must be a tough time for both of you. My advice to you would be to opt for IVF along with ICSI tests done. These improve the quality of the sperms. The clinic I am visiting basically have medications that they give to the patients to improve the quality. I guess you can check that out as well. IVF and IUI are two treatments that work really well when you are suffering from male factor infertility. The chances of success are quite high. Don't worry I am sure things will get better. Just stay strong and be positive. You and your wife should talk to yourself about your feelings. It is important to express emotions in such situations. Lastly, make sure to visit the correct doctor for the treatment. Someone with a high success rate. Good luck!
Hi Angel, thank you very much for support and advice, you are really kind person, we actually feel strong and patient, could you tell us, infertility specialist or hospitals and location?
I am more than welcome to help. We didn't have the insurance to opt for the clinic in our area. Therefore, had to think outside of the box! If you want more in depth information you can message me. The reason for opting for that clinic is that I have had some really bad experiences previously. For procedures like IVF, good learned doctors are really important. So make sure whichever clinic you visit the success rate is high.
Hi Osman. I am so sorry to hear you are having such troubles. I do know that lots of men can improve their quantity and quality of sperm through diet. Are you taking any kind of supplements or following a fertility diet at all? Also, possibly stating the obvious but also regularity / frequency of intimacy may help too.
If you are looking for specialists or clinics then is there a particular location you are looking for?
Hi, Camillage Thank you for support I took supplement called (fertile aid) but nothing changed, We are looking for clinics or specialist affordable any location, Thank you for your help, we appreciate you all.
Hi. If you look at hfea.gov.uk website, all the clinics are listed in the UK. You will be able to see what they charge too. Hope that helps. Diane
Hello Osman
I don't know of any clinics where you live, but my husband saw a fertility specialist after we discovered my husband had a very low sperm count and only 1% morphology. Our doctor recommended IVF or ICSI but because I am 40 in 2 weeks time, I cannot get any funding for this on the NHS.
He was told to take zinc and selenium, improve his diet and drink less alcohol. He did quit smoking at the start of the year too. At his last sperm test, his morpholoy was still the same but he had 5 million more sperm which whilst still under average, much better for him.
Do an online search of your nearest clinic that does IVF and their prices, but in the meantime, be as healthy as you possibly can and take zinc.
If you are from east Africa you don’t have to go overseas. There are several fertility clinics in Nairobi where you can get treatment and options. South Africa also has one of the best fertility clinics at much cheaper rates than clinics in Europe but for similar results
