First scan after 6 days of stims - results

Hi ladies,

I need help understanding if my follicle count and measurements after 6 days of stims are good or not as I have no other point of comparison.

In total I have 30 follicles – 13 follicles on the left ovary and 17 on the right ovary.

Around 6 of the follicles measure between 12mm – 13mm and many of the others around 8/9/10 mm.

Is this good after 6 days?

Hi Renee,

I think that sounds very good! I’m at the same stage as you and had a 6 day scan today too, I had 14 follicles above 10mm and some smaller ones. I’m very happy with this because at the same stage last time I only had 4 above 10.

Do you know when you’ll be having EC? They’re thinking of doing mine this thurs which I think is a bit early but I’m having another scan tomorrow before they decide!

Ah very reassuring! We really are at exactly the same stage! My doc thinks my EC will be either Friday or Saturday, but like you I'm having another scan and also another blood test tomorrow which should determine things I think. Are you still continuing with the same dose of injections tonight? x

Yes same dose tonight, I’m hoping the rest will grow a bit more by tomorrow! X

How did you get on today? I’m back in tomorrow and EC should be Fri.

Hi Linzb, my second scan yesterday showed that I now have 31 follicles, the larger ones are growing at a good pace. I also have another scan today and doc thinks that EC will be either Friday or Saturday. Should probably know more by the end of today.

How are your follicles doing? Let me know how you get on with your scan today x

Hi, just had my scan and I’ve got 12 above 15mm which are ready and another 6 which should catch up soon, as well as some smaller ones. I’m booked in for EC at 8am in Friday. 😀

EC booked in for me too on Friday at 1pm!! Triggering tonight at 11pm!
