Hi all,

I’ll be 13dp5dt and that means that it’s test time!! 😬😬 which test is best? I’m really stressing about it being negative...finding it hard to stay positive! 🙏🏼

Thanks x

Ooo good luck Rachwithers! 🤞🤗 lots of women use First Response or Clear Blue Digital as these can pick up a positive result earlier. Personally I prefer to use the standard clear blue though (the type with the cross / lines which appear in the response window) this test will be sensitive enough at 13+5and is a little cheaper. Are you testing this morning? Xx

I like to use the clear blue digital simply because it tells you in plain language pregnant or not pregnant. Of course it can be difficult to take a latter result when it’s so blatant, but I find at least there is no ambiguity with interpretation of lines. Massive luck!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼😘

Hi Rach, fingers & toes crossed for your test tomorrow. I actually bought some tests from ebay which haven't let me down yet, but possibly a bit late to order them. I've also used tesco own brand which were fine. Well done for holding out until OTD! xxx

Thank you! It’s actually not my OTD- testing a day early as I’m back to school on Monday and don’t think I’ll be able to get my head together in a day if it’s negative 😬 xx

Good luck!!! Clear blue Digital with date predictor is excellent x

Hi Rach I use the one the clinic supplies which is a standard clear blue one and I buy the digital clear blue just to double check. Both tests picked up the pregnancies both times. So the normal should be sensitive enough. Good luck xxx

I think you’ll be far enough along that any test will pick it up. You’ll be at the equivalent of 18dpo (if you assume ovulation = egg collection).

I used First Response and got my BFP at 12dp5dt (My OTD was 15dp5dt.) then some spotting a week later and tested with the digital and cross-type Clear Blue. At that point I liked the digital one because it told me how many weeks so I was relieved to see 3+ and wasn’t losing the pregnancy. I also became neurotic and ordered HCG blood tests from MediChecks because my clinic doesn’t do bloods. I wanted to make sure my HCG was doubling as expected.

Best of luck! I remember how nerve wracking it was.

I can't make any recommendations but just wanted to wish you good luck. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🍀🤞

I tried Clearblue non digital (blue cross) and first response and both showed positive early on. I used the none digital one about a week after period was due then that showed pregnant too. Good luck x

Hi Rach, my OTD was 13dp5dt and I tested with a first response in addition to the one given to me by a clinic. It picked up my positive so you should be fine at 14dp5dt. Good luck for tomorrow. How are you feeling? Xx

I used first response for testing early and got a positive 9 dp 5dt and then used a digital clear blue on OTD which was 13 dp 5d fet. Good luck! xxx
