Hi Rachel,
That’s amazing news! Quality is always better than quantity and it looks like your 4 are super strong! ❤️
No real advice, I’ve just started my 2WW after our FET today too! 😳 Rest up, eat well and drink lots of water! I’m going to try my damn hardest to stay away from google this time too!
Wishing you all the luck in the world! 🍀 xxx
Lovely thank you! I’m okay to go back to work Monday? Xx
I went straight back after my first transfer and I felt ok to go back.. I don’t work weekends so this time it’s fallen well as I’ve taken an extra day tomorrow off so turns out I have a few days.. My clinic said it doesn’t make any difference to the outcome if you do go back straight away but I’d say if you can, take a day or two afterwards to relax.. xxx
Lovely news. All the best for Sunday hun.
Mcds fries after transfer and pineapple with core 5 days after. Pom juice is supposed to be good.
Wishing you so much baby dust hun
💝😘💝
Thank you, is it painful, the procedure? Xx
Sorry, had to reply as I know you have a UU like me! It’s not painful as such.. Because of my UU, I have quite a bend on my cervix so he had to clip it both transfers which wasn’t pleasant.. But it was over with pretty quickly..
Again, wishing so much luck.. xx
Thank you that’s really helpful! Did you go back to work the next day? Xxx
Transfer is not painful I found it very emotional and ended up crying as felt an achievement getting that far people don’t realise how stressful the daily calls on how eggs are doing are. Good luck hun sounds like you are in a fab position - one thing my acupuncture said was to keep your feet warm so I ended up wearing fluffy socks apparently it helps implantation to the womb and eating 5 Brazil bits per day - good luck xx
Are the MaccyD fries 🍟 actually a thing?? 😛😂
Fantastic news! Well done 👍
As for implantation tips eat lots of pineapple esp the core it can help implantation; am unsure of timings as it may be different to just ttc?
Avoid heavy lifting or anything really strenuous apart from that just carry on as normal 😘
Try to have nice things planned to do to keep you busy and calmer ; I am sure relaxing must help conception without wanting to sound patronising.
Good luck hope it’s your time ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo
So you went back to work the next day? Thank you lovely xxx
Amazing news! Good luck for Sunday - hope the 2ww passes quickly! Xx
Thank you, me too! 😘
Good luck!! V exciting!! Are you transferring 1 or 2? I’ve never followed any specific eating advice other then a healthy balanced diet with the relevant prenatals. Rest on day of transfer (I’ve had 7 and not painful at all, feels a little like a smear test). Take it nice and easy for 5 days after and NO heavy lifting, no hot baths, no caffeine and just relax xxx
Just 1 little embryo ♥️ thank you xx
Good luck 🙏🏼🤞🏼😘xxx
Fantastic Rach! Best of luck 🤞🤞 Personally I think it’s good to take it easy for the first 2-3 days after transfer... give that little embie the very best possible chance to burrow 😊
Good luck, the procedure itself is fine, it's just like having a smear test really but just takes a little bit longer. I had mine done in my lunch break - work thought I was at the dentist 😀 So I went straight back after. It's actually quite a magical experience and we could see what was going on with the embryo on the screen, so that definitely takes your mind off it. You have to have a full bladder for the transfer but not so much your fit to burst, I just sipped water during the hour before it. Good luck xxx
Good luck Hun xx
I’ve just had my FET this morning and was told no baths, swimming or heavy lifting but other than that to just carry on as normal. I ate a load of pineapple on the way home but I’ve no idea when you’re actually supposed to eat it or how much! I also ate a Burger King (it was a long drive 😬). I think the key is to relax as much a possible, easier said than done! Good luck xx
Fantastic news! I haven’t read through the other replies so sorry if it’s been said already but from the day of transfer eat a slice of fresh pineapple (including core). I usually buy one, slice it in 5 then have a slice a day for 5 days. Brazil nuts are meant to help too.
Re transfer, no real advice other than a full bladder. Whilst it isn’t exactly a pleasant procedure it isn’t painful - no worse then a smear. And it is cool getting to see your little embie going up the tube to go inside you.
Good luck with it all!
brilliant news! xx
Great news Rachel!! Good luck for Sunday!xx
Enjoy it! Relax and smile. Don’t be nervous xx
