Scan done

Well the scan is all done and there was one fabulous little heartbeat. No sign of the other embryo at all so thank goodness they put 2 back. Her ovaries look a little angry and there is some fluid on her pelvis so going back in two weeks for another scan. Any idea what the fluid could be although the hospital wasn’t concerned . Relieved though xxxx

She’s very relieved. They arnt worried about the fluid apparently. They have also said the baby has settled in a brilliant position so that’s good xx

The fluid is probably just he after effects of treatment it’s nothing to worry about it’ll probably clear up on its own it’s good they’re checking it, I had an infection after my treatment and had a lot of fluid as well with one of my ovaries being quite bulky too but it cleared up without causing any harm. Great news for you all xxxx

Fantastic news! I had fluid too, after effects of treatment, mine weren’t concerned either and I’m presuming it’s now gone. They’ll just check her ovaries are settling down, they need to do all the work in the first 12 weeks until the placenta fully takes over 😊 so happy for you all x

Hi Gillyc1. There you go, one well attached little “bean”. The fluid will most likely be from the ovaries over reacting a little causing a bit of leakage from a few follicles. Totally nothing to worry about as her body will break it down and reabsorb it. Love to you all. Diane xx

They’ve given her the 29th December, the same date as it was confirmed she lost her baby last year xx

The midwife couldn’t fit her in until nearly 14 weeks but the hospital has told her she needs to ring them to get her in quicker xxx
