1st suprecur injection done ✅ itchy area 🤔

Hi all, just done my 1st injection but I’m itchy at the area now like I was when using cetrotide before, it’s not as bad but is this normal? X

I’ve not had itchy injection sites but in my last cycle, my laparoscopy scars were really itchy! The nurse said it could just be a very small reaction and not to worry. X

Yes I quite often had an itchy lump after using suprecur. I got on better injecting in my tummy rather than my thigh (my clinic prefer you to use thigh) and injecting super slowly. Also, don’t keep your suprecur in the fridge as it’s worse if it’s cold. Finally, rubbing the site after you finish injecting can help spread the drug and it doesn’t build up into an itchy spot so much.
