Test Day

Hi all, I did my test this morning and it’s a negative result. I guess I just have to wait on AF now... I emailed the clinic but I’m not really sure what to do next? Will the clinic get in touch or should I call them? All advice welcome, thanks ladies 💕 xx

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear your news. Hope you're OK and sending you a hug!

On the sheet they gave me after transfer there was two different numbers, one to phone if it was positive and one for negative, but I understand every clinic does things differently.

Aslo my otd isn't until two weeks after transfer, was your transfer 9 days ago? Just asking, incase its too soon to test still... But obviously don't want to give you false hope 💙

Hi! I emailed the clinic this morning and the info sheet I have says to stop medication (only 1 pessary left) and they will review my info and get back to me in due course. It’s the same clinic I had my nhs try with but we paid this time. I’m just unsure if I have the right to phone and ask for a review appt as I know I waited ages for one after my m/c. I guess I just want to know if there is any point in trying again etc...?! Thanks for replying 💕 xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your bfn. The clinic should get back to you, if you were on medication you would stop af should arrive within the week. Take some time to for yourself and when you are ready maybe write out something’s you may have noticed or thought could be done differently next time (if that’s what you are wanting to do). I think Diane has a list of questions you can ask in your follow up appt. xx

If they don’t respond within a few hours, I would ring them. But don’t take care of yourself BFN’s are so difficult xx

Sorry to read this. It’s so unfair. I always call my clinic on otd. Perhaps if they don’t respond towards the end of the day then give them a call xx

Thanks lovely, I’m just feeling a little lost I guess and don’t think I have any options left with regards to funding, that and I’m 41 already. Trying to keep myself busy doing housework instead of driving myself crazy! xx

Hi Squeak, I’m sorry. I hope you are ok and taking it easy today. It’s a rubbish day. Had my rubbish negative on Friday so totally understand what your going through. I called my clinic with the results and they told me to stop taking all meds and if I wanted to make a review appointment. I couldn’t speak to them because I was so upset so they said they would call me tomorrow. The consultant called to see how I was and to answer any questions I had and will call again at the end of the week to see how I’m feeling. They have been really supportive. Take some time out and take care of each other

I’ve booked my review appointment for a few weeks away as I’m not ready to discuss what to do next yet.

Call your clinic if you want, you’ve paid enough to use their services and they will want to support your through this.
