So... I have been waking up all through thr night and been so so nervous.
We did the test, and left the room as waiting for the results was like torture (I was literally shaking). When we went back in, there was a line π±π±π± !!!!!!!! I burst into tears straight away. Have period like pains today and am worried something is going to go wrong. I'm now 10dpt 5dt...is there any chance the trigger shot is still in my system?! This was taken on 21st March.
I'm also feeling cautious as my clinic have told me I have to do another test a week today to properly confirmthe pregnancy!
I am so happy and excited but still can't get too over the moon...
I sound like such a misery! This is what we have been trying for for 5 years I think I'm just overwhelmed! Xxxx

I know itβs so hard!! They always have to check bloods again. My clinic check my blood twice in 48hr to make sure the hcg is doubling, standard practice. Itβs a rollercoaster of emotions but stay positive x
My clinic just assume positive urine home test = pregnant! Everywhere is so different! My clinic do make you wait the full two weeks though, even after a five day transfer.
I wish it was as simple as a positive urine test but after a few chemical pregnancies on the spin iβm so cautious. So scary but remaining positive!! My last 2 transfers resulted in fab initial hcg then a drop 2 days later. Praying next week brings good news in both tests ππΌ
I think it's urine and then a scan to check it's a viable pregnancy? This process really does teach you patience doesn't it!! Really hope this works out for you xxx
Thank you so much!!! I have one healthy baby but have lost 6 nhs do a viability scan without hcg bloods but privately I think they generally have the 2 tests. Scary either way but iβm proof perseverance preveils x
Itβs really sad and takes it out of you but makes you so much stronger at the same time! One piece of advice is get tested properly for everything before or during a cycle so the transfer has every chance of success. My Frosties stood no chance as my clotting issue was killing them but on a Clexane now which prevents miscarriage and thins the blood x
If this doesn't work I'll definitely get tests done. I have thyroid issues too so worried what impact that may have on it too! So pleased you finally found what the issue was ππ xxx
Donβt worry! Youβll be fine! Mine was a particularly difficult case and o had undiagnosed thyroid issues too but currently on Levothyroxine which keeps it in check. The good thing is youβre aware of it so it canβt do any harm!! X
Iβm at a private clinic and they donβt do bloods. I just think itβs each clinicβs preference. I could probably push for bloods if I wanted to but, having had two miscarriages, I trust my body to miscarry if necessary... I know it sounds awful but itβs true. I hope it wonβt happen this time though!
