Follicles and twins...

Hello everyone 👋🏻

I had a scan today to see how the Clomid has worked. I’m on day 10 of my cycle. I was told I have one follicle of 12mm and another of 13mm. The clinic want me to go back later this week to have another scan to see if one of the follicles gets bigger and the other reduces, if they both continue to get bigger there is the chance of twins. They mentioned a drug which matures the egg(s) but the nurse said I didn’t need to take it until I go back for the scan. My concern is that we might miss chances to conceive by waiting for the next scan (my Clearblue monitor gave a ‘high’ reading today) but obviously we need to consider the chance of twins...

Has anybody been in a similar situation/taken the medication to mature eggs?
