Does the 2ww start the day after transfer?

Basically it is the time between transfer and your otd - official test date. My two week wait after fet was actually 10days. It depends on the cycle and the clinic. It is called the two week wait as it is usually weeks between ovulation and testing. Hope that helps and good luck xxc

Yes, it starts after transfer but the actual length of time varies by clinic and can depend whether clinic does a blood test or asks you to do an hpt. In a natural cycle the 2ww is the one between ovulation and a period i.e. usually 14 days. In my old clinic for example though, if it was a day-5 transfer then my 2ww (after transfer) was 9 days so I tested the day my period would normally be due ie 5 days plus 9 days so 14 days - but my clinic did a blood test so would be quite accurate. Some clinics make the 2ww a full 2 weeks and the test is hpt so needs that extra few days to ensure the result is accurate. Make sense!? lol

My 2ww was actually for 16 days! Those extra 2 days were so long!!
