Thanks Core. Well I had my daughter in 2018. She was my first ever round of ivf and it worked! So I took it for granted that ivf would work again and so in late 2019 I had 2 FETs left over from my first round- both failed. Then a second round of ivf resulting in a fresh and then a frozen transfer - both failed. Then a third round of ivf which has been very good in that I have got a good number of embryos but the first fresh transfer failed and now I’m on the first FET from that round of ivf. Actually I should have said ICSI. So lots of goes! But I have an amazing daughter so I’m grateful and probably just greedy for wanting more! How about you? X

Oh wow! Did you have a reason for to ur infertility? Congratulations on your daughter. I’ve had 6 failed FETs and 1 positive but then a miscarriage the doctors have always said it’s a numbers game and we still have quite a few left on ice so hoping we’ll get there xx

I’m definitely realising that it is just a matter of luck, and I was so very fortunate the first time around. I have PCOS and never ovulate and my husbands sperm isn’t the best, hence the ICSI.

It’s such an emotionally draining process, I hope you are doing okay, that is a lot to have gone through.

Are you going through another cycle at the moment or having a break?

How are you feeling? Any symptoms? I’m driving myself insane as I’ve got no symptoms what so ever, worried it’s another fail 😒

I had some pain/cramps the day after but I suspect that is just the same feelings you get after a smear. Nothing since. Maybe it’s too early for sore boobs etc. I’m trying to stay positive but Im also disappointed that I don’t feel more. Are you holding out till OTD and when does your clinic say that is? Mine say 11 days past transfer- a week tomorrow 😬

17th is my test day, I said I wouldn’t test early as my last one I tested loads & just got more & more disappointed but it also helped when I came to actual test day that I already knew it was negative. Xx

Tuesday 18th, mine was a fresh, day 5 blastocyst transfer. I dont get why clinics advise such different timelines to test from 🤔x

My previous clinic would have said Tuesday as well. Yes it is odd. If I get a BFN my current clinic will suggest I carry on with meds and test again in 24 hours and if still negative I’m out. So they are confident with the earlier test window.

Mine was a frozen 5 day blastocyst.

I’m hoping I hold out to my OTD. I’m a serial tester generally but want to be good this time 😊. Will you last till your OTD do you think?

I'm going to try n go as long as possible, i figure if I have any symptoms I may test a few days earlier. If I don't then I think I'll hold on till the 18th. I've had some twinges in my stomach so far, but tbh I'm not reading to much into that given all the meds n procedures my bodies been through. I go on holiday 20th n its my bday 24th so it's gona either be amazing, or one I'll want to forget. X
