Brilliant news this morning. 8 follicles with 8 eggs. One egg wasn’t mature so got 7 eggs. That is the best results my daughter has ever had. Sure the acupuncture and hot water bottles have worked . Just got to get the little darlings fertilised now xxxx

Gilly like you I am supporting my daughter through IVF she has had a tough journey to get to this point including an early loss and many years trying with disappointment every month I came on here to get information did not intend to comment but cannot fail to be moved by all the stories and the support these brave women give to each other.I wish I could guarantee success to them all x

Be great to hear if she did anything different - drugs, dose, supplements, food etc. I only got 3 eggs last time & one was immature so really afraid to try again. One ovary didn’t play ball & just developed a cyst so hoping that was a fluke as that side has a better afc . What’s your daughters amh if you don’t mind me asking X

Never been told her amh. She is on the highest dose of gonal f as she is a poor responder. She lost 6.5 on slimming world but since last September hadn’t really stuck to it and put about a stone back on so her diet had changed. Also she has been having acupuncture for the last few months which we believe has helped. She had never, in all her cycles produced follicles on both side but this time she has. Also, while stimming always had a hot water bottle on her tummy when she could . Last year on one of her cycles she only got two follicles, this last one she got 12 on her first scan so something is working for her. Really recommend acupuncture though xxxx
