Egg retrievel Saturday

So my daughter had her final scan. Follicles measuring 20,18,16,14, 13,two at 12 and two at 10. It’s such anxious times so let’s just hope somewhere in the bigger ones , there are some nice mature eggs . Xxxx

Good luck to her. Great the clinic do egg collection on a Saturday too, where I am none of the clinics have an anaesthetist working weekends & I think I lost out on potentially one or two more eggs being collected as they had to take me on the Friday as by the mon my biggest follicle could have gone. It is so lovely you are in it together. I am in a similar position to her I already have one child and struggling this time round with a low amh. My mum very sadly has a brain tumour so i decided not to worry her about me but know she’d be as supportive as you are if she knew. All the best for tomorrow xx

That’s terrible that they don’t do weekends, that could potentially ruin your cycle and chances. My daughter never produces lots of follicles and is on the highest dose of gonal f. Are you going through treatment now?. That’s so sad about your mum. How can this weld be so cruel to the best ppl. Sending hugs xxx

I know it’s really unfortunate. I’ve only tried one cycle but thinking about another clinic & am enquiring about access fertility. Thank you re my mum, it really is the sadddest time of my life but thankful that I have my husband and gorgeous daughter to keep me going. I am also close to my sister but it’s been a bit difficult as she just had her 3rd baby a few weeks ago, but easier now that the baby is here & she’s no longer pregnant in a strange way. Let us know how tomorrow goes x

It’s actually Saturday for retrievel at 10 o’clock. She has just had her trigger injection. She is doing a blog on fb about it. Sharing her experience is educating ppl on ivf and exactly what’s involved. It’s opening a lot of ppls eyes to it for definite xxx

Sorry I’m in weekend mode already as off work tomorrow I meant Saturday. Oh good for her re the Facebook thing, that will be quite far reaching & im sure of comfort to others going through fertility problems x

Just had a very sad moment. Emotions took over and she had a bit of a breakdown but after lots of cuddles and talking about possibly outcomes, bfn and bfp, and how she can approach it, she feels better xx
