Hi all, had collection yesterday. 10 eggs collected, 8 mature, got the phone call today so that 7 successfully fertilised and survived the night. Been told we will have day 5 transfer on Saturday. Now anxious waiting until then! Anyone have any advice or experience about how many embryos they had on day 5?
Thanks in advance.

Fab news! Congratulations. I hope the next 5 days go quickly xx
Wahoooo! How exciting! Mine was very similar to you. 10 collected, 9 suitable, 5 fertilised and 4 top grade blastos! Got two put back in and now I'm preg with twins at 10 weeks (still can't get over it!!) You've got a cracking number! Fingers crossed for you!! x
I had 7 eggs fertilised overnight too. We ended up with 2 viable embryos (one is in and doing well!) Everyone is different though so you might have a different number!
We had 12 eggs, they all fertilised then when we got to ET transfer day, one fresh one to transfer, and four were ready to freeze- they did say they would wait until the next day as some of the others looked like they might develop more but they didn’t. We were over the moon with four Frosties, fully prepared that any or all of them might not defrost though. Wishing you lots of luck and hope 🤞🏻🙏🏻🌈🍀🤗 xx
We had 14 mature eggs; 8 fertilised. 3 failed to continue. We had 5 blastocysts. One transferred (bfn) and 4 frozen (2 bfps, 1 bfn and 1 perished at thaw). Good luck for Saturday xx
I think every cycle is different, but your numbers are good. Will they update you at all over the five days? My clinic updates every day except day 4 which they say is a “transition day” for the embryos.
Good luck- the waiting is just hard, there’s no magic way to make it easier as far as I know xx
