Hello all

I have utreus didephlys which is not common and feel alone as i dont know anyone with this condition. So have no one to talk to that understands the struggles . After 4 years of tryimg to conceive we are now waiting to hear back for our referral. Roughly how long does this take to hear back (nhs) ? Also is there anyone with same condition on here ! Be nice to have somone to exchange experiences. Thanks sian

Hi Sianyreid, I’m afraid I can’t give you much advice other than it depends on your areas waiting lists if your going with nhs funding or not and whether you have a choice of one place for fertility treatment etc! One of the other lovely ladies or gents here might be able to offer better advice, hugs and good luck 💕 xx

Hi, I’m unsure of what your womb abnormality is, could you explain a little more? I too have a womb abnormality- I have a unicornuate uterus (half a womb in essence) with only one attached Fallopian tube but two ovaries. There is only one other person on here that I’ve found with a womb abnormality as they’re so rare! We begin our first ivf cycle this month, down regging on the 17th after ttc for 3 years and miscarrying last November xx

So I am similar- where your womb is split down the middle, basically the other side of mine never grew! I too will need a c section. I’m taking hope in the fact that lots of women don’t even realise they have a uterine abnormality until they become pregnant and go into pre-term labour so fingers crossed xx

I have a Unicornuate Uterus which as Rachwithers said, is rare.. I have had 1 failed ivf cycle and am gearing up for a FET in the next month.. It’s very lonely and hard to talk about uterine abnormalities with people who don’t have them..

Wanted to wish you luck with your referral and hope it all comes back in a speedy manor.. xxx
