Need a pep talk

Girls - I am up for egg collection tomorrow. 1st IVF cycle - it’s goung to be a frozen embryo transfer in 6 weeks:(. But as the hours are drawing closer I feel like I will have no eggs tomorrow. I have 13 follicles.. I feel like I ovulated already...I must be losing my mind. Did anyone ever go for a collection and it was too late? Thanks

I have a 37 hour trigger and they were 15 mins late on my last collection and I got really really nervous - and it was my best numbers yet. I really think you will be fine.

Thank you! I did my trigger shot at 11.30pm last night and are having the eggs collected at 11am tomorrow. I am losing my nerve...the set back was when they rang yesterday to say they will only transfer in 6-8 weeks due to my progesterone being too high and the endometrium being too advanced for implantation to occur.. I suppose I have lost faith/confidence! I never get a cervical Mucus during ovulation but I am getting it now so am wondering if it had happened already. Also my largest folicle was 22mm yesterday... so ready to pop

I got loads of CM in the few days before egg collection - it happens prior to ovulation not because of it. Mine was so heavy I was using pantyliners which I don't usually have to in a normal cycle. I think we just worry naturally because this is such a stressful time but I really think the clinics usually know best and you will be FINE. It's a good thing that they've looked at your lining quality so you will have a better chance at implantation later on. I'm also waiting for an FET from most recent egg collection and am trying to see it as a positive as there is increasing evidence that FETs can be more successful. Good luck xx

Please don’t worry too much, I had 15 follicles and they ended up with 14 eggs. You could be in for a good number with 13. I also had loads of CM and they said it was completely normal. Hope all goes well xx

Well please don’t worry . I’m having egg collection today as well at half nine. I have 14 follicles at 20 mm and 24 eggs . Hope all goes fine
