Round 2: 10 out of 10 eggs have fertilised!

Round 1 I had 8 out of 12 fertilise.

Very pleased with this great start but I'm only too aware after the first round that it's about quality not quantity so hoping for my 10 embryos to grow strong.... x

Wow that's amazing! On our first round, we got 15 eggs, 12 mature but only 6 fertilised. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

I am about to start a FET. Our first attempt resulted in a missed miscarriage but luckily we managed to get 3 frosties. Our first FET worked and I have a beautiful baby boy. I have one frozen embryo left so I am hoping this works otherwise we will be starting a fresh in the summer.

Oh my goodness! What a journey! So sorry you had a miscarriage...but amazing that ivf worked for you and with a Frostie! How lovely that you have a little boy. Fingers crossed for your next Frostie!!! Sadly I had none to freeze in round one despite still having 5 embryos on day 5 x

Wish you all the best. For me, its my first round of IVF, I did egg collection yesterday and 9 matured eggs were retrieved. I'm hoping all fertilized like yours did. Will be received a call today.

Be positive, this time everything shall work for good by God's grace and mercy.

Good luck!!! Hope you have a lovely fertilisation rate, but remember it only takes one! Like Cinderella has said, the post you’ve replied to is 2 years old, I went on to need 3 rounds in the end but am currently cuddling my 15 week old boy so keep going and I hope this is your time xxx

6 out of 9 is fantastic! Don’t get too disheartened if those numbers start dropping over the next 5 days, that always happens. You only need one good one on day 5 and look at any extras you get to freeze as a bonus. My son was made from a frozen embryo, the 4th embryo from my third round! Keep us updated x

Yes I'm very happy with the 6, just that I pray they stick around till day 5. The embryologist called to say they are ok at the moment but if there is a change I will have to do a day 3 transfer which is tomorrow but if everything goes on well then will be a day 5 transfer. I will update everyone. Thanks
