I got my beta results yesterday 13dp5dt which came in at 1235, this afternoon I have a dull ache in my lower abdomen & some bleeding. Has anyone else had this, went on to have a normal pregnancy? TIA

Advice required 14dp5dt positive beta yesterday, some bleeding today.
Hey hunny I can't help you but I just wanted to say it's very normal to have light bleeding during the first part of your pregnancy. If you feel scared I would get it checked out but so many ladies on here go on to have a successful birth! Your reading of HCG level is really good. Congratulations xxx
Thanks so much for your reply x
Congratulations on your pregnancy dear one! I know spotting sounds like a panic attack when you're pregnant but you don't have much reasons to worry as long as it stays just spotting. Mild cramps and a few drop of infrequent spotting can happen anytime in the whole gestation period - there's no harm in it. Plus, your HCG level seems pretty good to me.. there will be fewer risks anyway. I have 6-year-old twins and have had spotting from around 5-8 weeks then there wasn't as much as a twitch till the 33week and then the spotting started - I was worried sick till the Dr ran an ultrasound and confirmed the babies are alright. Then explained that it's normal during gestation as long as it's only a couple of drops. So, just keep a watchful eye on the quantity and try to relax. Everything will be alright, stay optimistic and do not stress. God Bless you!
Thanks so much for your reply. Oh it's nerve wrecking fx all goes to plan x

Oh yes it is, people want adventure adrenaline rush - I'd say get pregnant - nothing can heighten the sense of caution and yet being immensely happy the same way. You've had IVF, naturally, there must be several tries before and now with all that you'll be like a halk.. looking at everything skeptically, being alarmed even at the slightest twitch and so one. Can't really get rid of it even if you try too hard - instead just try stay happy and relaxed that might help. Stay well!
Thanks xx
I got my positive Monday and, like you, am now on symptom watch. It's a worrying time, but I've read time and time again that bleeding and cramps are all very normal signs. Maybe a call to your clinic might help set your mind at ease? Big hugs xx
Thanks for your reply Charlie, the very best of luck with your own pregnancy. Exciting times ahead. My Gp just said it's normal, to try and relax fx x
I'm so glad to hear that, you must be very relieved. Thank you re my pregnancy! xx
