Hi ICSIBaby86. Yes, I've seen this done, where they laser/shave off the protruding part of a fibroid inside the womb. Effective for a short term solution, but the fibroid often grows back. At least it can be done via the cervix and doesn't require an abdominal operation. Good luck if you decide to do this. Diane
I have just had this done and my consultant removed the entire thing. He doesn’t think there is much chance of it coming back. So less invasive and shorter recovery time which means we can start trying again after next cycle.
