I can’t quite believe that I am writing this but on Tuesday I have my planned c section at 35 weeks. Bean is feet first so no option of natural birth. Am terrified about having the section and recovery after but so happy to be where we are.
I wish all of you ladies lots of luck wherever you are in your journey.
I hope you won’t mind me posting a picture in a few days. I hope it will give hope. Xx

Excited and scared both at the same time. They want to do things early as it was such a complicated pregnancy with the trap sequence and I have no immune system at the min so getting him out while all is well. Had steroids last week to get his lungs ready. Off for last scan tomorrow to check growth xx
Good luck don't be scared I had mine at 37 weeks and it honestly was a lovely experience. Everything is very calm and you will get looked after very well. Make sure you get some pictures when the baby is born we didn't like to ask but they asked us in the end and took loads for us in the theatre xx
Congratulations! I prefer c section to be honest and if every thing goes well I’ll have it.having my egg collection first thing in the morning! Don’t worry about it most of my friends had it they’ve been absolutely fine. Recovery is the same I think natural is not that easy. Good luck xxx
My boy was transverse and low lying placenta and I developed obstetric cholestasis so I had planned c section at 37weeks and 4 days... Recovering happened so quickly and healed well... Don't be scared... They look after you so well.. Wishing you all the best.. Nearly time for bean xx
How wonderful and exciting!! Good luck!! I hear planned c sections are very calm and a positive experience. Both my girls were emergency sections. I had no complications with either procedure and am completely back to normal now (my youngest is 5 months old). Just keep taking the pain meds and if you find it too hard to lift baby at first just ask. Midwives will expect this. Good luck!! Xxxxxx
I had a planned c section as my little girl was breach too. You will be well looked after as they know you are coming in- much better recovery time than a emergency c section! I actually felt very relaxed knowing the day baby was coming and could plan everything around it! Recovery went well and I was out of hospital the next day and went for a walk the following day!
Good luck and looking forward to seeing a picture! Xx
Ah congratulations and much luck for your Caesar! Quite a few of my friends have had C-Sections and have said they’re very civilised, so I’m sure you’ll be fine! Xxx
Hi Hormomalmess. My goodness that went quickly! Maybe not for you, but it has. Try not to worry about delivering little one, as they will look after you, and you should be up and about before you know it. I'm sure you will have plenty of help at home to do any lifting, and you will be surprised at how soon you will recover. I remember my very first twin C-section and it looked like we were cutting into a space hopper!! So excited for you and I will be thinking of you of course. Diane
Aw good luck for Tuesday!! How exciting! I know what u mean about not believing it...i'm now 33wks which has gone so fast, yet taken forever. I keep thinking only 1yr ago I was starting my ivf journey...2 back to back rounds later and here I am after 5.5yrs ttc! I also have had a complicated pregnancy which means I'll probably be induced in 5wks. Can't wait to see a pic of ur little squish xxx
