hysteroscopy

Girls, greetings! I immediately want to share my problem. I will do hysteroscopy (diagnostic). I'm very afraid, in many forums I read that it is very scary. And the question, actually, is this: according to the analyzes, smears and ultrasound, I always have everything perfectly. There is no suspicion for anything. But reproductologist said it necessary to pass before IVF. Tell who did this, how did the procedure go, how did you recover from this? And what were the results?

Hi, do not worry, everything will be fine. You must trust your doctor. Just do what your doctor tells you. I'm sure he knows more than you know. Your doctor does everything right, sometimes you need to do unpleasant procedures. After all, going to the doctor is always stressful. Just relax and think about the fact that this procedure is needed first of all for you.

I had my hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic along with other procedures and they just looked at my womb with a camera and checked there were no obvious problems. It should be very straightforward even without general anaesthetic.

I am having a hysteroscopy in Jan after 2 failed implantations, and have the same worries bibiz. I didn't have to have it before i started ivf though, although in hindsight with the issues i've had, I probably would have chosen to have it in order to rule out all possible issues before starting treatment. Is it usually under general anaesthetic Lizzie?
