HCG levels falling

Hi there,

I have just found out that I am 5-6 weeks pregnant however have had very bad stomach aches. After going to the doctor it was suggested that bloods would tell us more. I've had my second result back now and my HCG level have dropped since the first reading. They have asked me to come back for more bloods to check if they have dropped further.

Does anyone know of a similar experience? I just want to know if I should be hopeful that everything will be ok? Is there a chance that my hormone levels will rise again? Thanks so much

Hey,

Sorry to hear about your HCG levels. Do you know what the results were?

I’ve had fallen levels twice, both times I had chemical pregnancies but my levels of HCG were so low to start with that the chances of them even picking up were extremely slim in the first place.

I really hope your level will rise again xxx

I'm sorry I hear this any drop is hcg has never been good for me I have experienced 3 ectopic pregnancies before becoming pregnant through ivf this year. I'm not saying that it is an ectopic at all I maybe an early

Miscarriage as horrible as that is it to hear and say have they scanned you? X

It’s still quite high. You’ll need to do another blood test to see if it’s still dropping
